Welcome to the Site

I started playing role-playing games in 1986 (I think it was then) and have played AD&D for most of my life. Charles Di Pinto introduced me to the game during breaks at school and we ended up playing most weekends from Friday evening through Sunday late afternoon. Three Suns as a campaign already existed in parts and Charles had a huge load of paper flying around in his room which he should still have in some drawers, unless his dog Ulric hasn't gotten to it first.

During the gaming, the campaign expanded and we continuously added little things here and there. Finally, we came up with the idea of populating parts of the continent with colonists from a distant continent we called Colbet. Among these were the Rastockians, which ended up in Manxx.

I started playing in Three Suns with Charles but continued the campaign without him for over five years. Many things stayed the same, but most things ended up being different, when we met again in 1996. He made some changes to his campaign and I made some to mine to adapt better. But then, I started playing again and guess what: The campaigns drifted apart once more. In a conversation in early 1998, we decided to run the campaigns separately. I'd develop mine naturally in one way, independently of his, which would eventually lead to two completely different campaigns. Think of it as me buying the boxed set of Three Suns.

The site you see now is fairly new, the idea old. Like Charles, I have loads of paper sitting in boxes which I may possibly publish to the web someday, if studies and work allow so (I'm an econ-major and I design HTML-Pages). Every once in a while I have the time (or just create it), and add a little more here and there as I expand the campaign.

Feel free to roam around and if you want to send in a comment, just send me an email: nevenbartel"at"web.de. Hope you enjoy it.

All the best!
