The Calliak Forest

If you look at the map, you will notice that the border of the county is red in the Calliak Forest. This because Manxxian troops officially aren't allowed in the forest - it is Imperial land. Since the Freemen Wars, Imperial troops have been patrolling the woods more thoroughly as there had been some neglect earlier. Manxx still sees the protection of the borderlands to the woods as vital to its security. No open conflicts between Imperial and Manxxian troops have occured as yet and the discussion is kept on a diplomatic level of "written protests". Manxx doesn't officially see the bordering Calliak as part of the county, but as a buffer-zone to the county. Thus, it must be patrolled.

There used to be smaller Manxxian settlements in the woods. These were dissolved after the Freemen Wars. Manxx hasn't taken any steps as of yet to resettle the woods and to avoid conflict with the Empire, will wait with such a decision until a formal agreement is made.

The only vital question to solved soon is of the state of Manxxian Springs.
